Alan Graham, a nationally recognized expert in the area of ADHD and
co-founder of ADDvisor.com.
By taking this course and completing the MentorCoach certification
program, you will have completed 12 hours of the training
requirements toward being certified as an ADHD Coach. |

The ADHD Coaching Master Class is for coaches with experience
working with individuals with AD/HD or who have a very strong
interest in doing so. This class can also be of benefit to coaches
who work with clients who struggle with organization, prioritization
and time management. This is a twelve-hour class.
At the conclusion of this class, each participant will have
a toolkit of practical interventions that can be used immediately in
their coaching. Topics covered include: the logistics of AD/HD
coaching, time management, social skills, relationships, maintaining
self-esteem, working with children and adolescents, acceptance of
the diagnosis.
In this interactive class, participants are encouraged, but
not required, to bring case vignettes of individuals with AD/HD they
have worked with in coaching or other helping interactions. We will
use these cases to elaborate on the many approaches one can take
when working with this population.

Alan R Graham

As a therapist, coach, educator, author, and presenter, Alan R.
Graham, Ph.D., has over two decades of experience helping thousands
of ADHD children, adolescents, adults, and their families navigate
life's challenges, and gain the tools they need to manage emotional
issues. Initially trained as a secondary and elementary school
teacher, Alan furthered his education by obtaining his Ph.D. in
Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University and completing his
clinical training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and
Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Alan was in MCP 3 and is
a long standing member of the trainer team for MentorCoach.
Alan has earned the designation of Professional Certified Coach
by the International Coaching Federation and is a Certified Graduate
of the Authentic Happiness Coaching Program.
Alan's experience has included working with difficult children
and adolescents in therapeutic day schools, inpatient, and
outpatient settings. While creating his group practices, ACP
Consultants, and the ADD Centers, he also held the position of
adjunct professor at the University of Illinois School of Medicine
and at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
As a way of giving back to the profession, Alan serves as the
Illinois representative to the American Psychological Association
Business of Practice Network (BOPN). He also served on the board of
the Illinois Psychological Association Clinical Practice Section and
was the chair of the Health Care Reimbursement Committee.
Alan is a member of the national organization of CHADD and serves
on the Professional Advisory Board for the Chicago CHADD chapter.
It is in this spirit of service that Alan and Bill Benninger, PhD
created ADDvisor.com as a means to share practical information with
families and individuals who live with ADHD every day.
Recognized for his work by peers and clients alike, he presents
and writes on psychological health, ADHD, child and family, and
business of practice issues throughout the United States. Alan is
married and has grown children, two daughters and a son.

Advanced ADHD Coaching with Alan Graham, a nationally
recognized expert in the area of ADHD and co-founder of
ADDvisor.com.
By taking this course, along with the Introductory ADHD
Coaching Class, and completing the MentorCoach
certification program, you will have completed the 30
hours of ADHD-specific Coach training required to be
certified as an Associate Certified ADHD Coach through
the Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching (IAAC).

Advanced ADHD Coaching Master Class:
About the Class
The Advanced ADHD Coaching Master Class is for coaches
with experience working with individuals with AD/HD who
are looking to gain more knowledge and skill in working
with this population. This is an eighteen-hour class. In
order to take this class, a student must have taken the
12 hour ADHD Coaching class or get the permission of the
trainer. Prerequisite: ADHD Coaching Class or permission
of trainer.
At the conclusion of this class, each participant will
have built on their toolkit of practical interventions
and have the opportunity participate in mentor group
coaching. Each class member will coach an individual
with ADHD of their choosing and get feedback on your
coaching from the instructor and other class members.
In this interactive class, participants are required to
bring cases of individuals with AD/HD they have worked
with in coaching or other helping interactions. We will
use these cases to elaborate on the many approaches one
can take when working with this population.
